Love is a Person

Love is a Person.

It weeps.

It embraces.

It endures.

Love gives life.

It creates.

It nurtures.

It protects.

Love sanctifies.

It encourages.

It applauds.

It praises.

Love is a Person.

It sacrifices.

It is sacrifice.

It is sacrificed.

Love is patient, kind, slow to anger... we "know" that Love never fails; yet so often, we fail it. We fail it when we think we've found it, when we "have it under control." When we "know" our lover.

Impossible, since Love is fire.

It cannot be contained.

It cannot be measured.

It cannot be limited.

Love is boundless.

It is reckless.

It is unconditional and unconditioned.

Love is raw.

It is bloody; it bleeds.

It dies so that the Beloved might live, so that the Beloved might know what true love is: what it looks like, what it sounds like, what is tastes like, what it promises.

Love is a Person not waiting to be find; Love is a Person chasing us down, hounding after us.

Love desires.

It desires.

It is jealous.

It is all-encompassing.

Love empties.

Love says, "You are my fulfillment. You satisfy my thirst. You are mine; I am yours."

Love watches. It awaits. It beckons. It calls.

It calls.

It calls....

Love waits.

It never gives up.

Love endures.

It hangs.

It waits.

Love burns.

It is light.

It inspires.

It guides.

It is Fire.

Love is Fire.

Love burns; it purifies!

It is passionate.

It is heated.

It sweats.

Love prays, never preying.

Love is no snare.

Love does not coerce. It does not capture.

Love flickers, it waits. Love awaits. Love hopes.

Love shares.

Love embodies.

Love is eternal, never-changing, always new, always the same.

Love is a Person.

It is alive.

Love is a Person

Love finds us.

Love personifies us. It creates.

It permeates.

Love is so that we may be.

In Love, we are.

Love is a Person.

Love is with us, within us: Love is.
